Skip permits
A skip on the road needs permission from the highway authority, Bristol City Council. Only the company that owns the skip can apply, so your skip hire firm gets the permit.
Fee: £90 for a calendar month (£144 a month for a retrospective permit)
Apply at least 5 working days before the skip goes on the road.
